Ontario is reporting 78 new cases of COVID-19 but that number is missing data from Toronto.

Health Minister Christine Elliott tweeted the numbers Thursday morning, noting that some numbers from Toronto Public Health were not available.

The new case count is likely higher than 78.

No new deaths were reported.

Another 99 people have recovered from the virus, leaving 891 active cases.

The active case count could actually be higher, given the issue with reporting.

Here’s how the numbers break down in our region:

Haldimand-Norfolk: 0 new cases, 20 active cases

Brant: 0 new cases, 7 active cases

Niagara: 4 new cases, 40 active cases

Halton: 5 new cases, 30 active cases

Hamilton: 3 new cases, 34 active cases
