Ontario reported 4,447 cases of COVID-19 and 19 deaths on Monday as hospitalizations surpass 2,200.
The daily case count comes as the province completed 42,873 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were done, is 10.5 per cent.
Ontario is reporting 4,447 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 42,900 tests completed. Locally, there are 1,299 new cases in Toronto, 926 in Peel, 577 in York Region, 233 in Ottawa and 227 in Hamilton.

Just 66,897 vaccines were administered on Sunday, the lowest reported in about two weeks.
There are 346,005 people in the province who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Another 3,153 cases have been marked as resolved.
Meanwhile, hospitalizations continue to rise with 2,202 people currently hospitalized with the virus. That’s up from the 2,107 reported on Sunday.
There are 755 people in intensive care with 516 of them on ventilators.
The death toll is 7,735 people.
