Ontario reported 3,436 cases of COVID-19 and 16 deaths on Monday, as the province’s vaccination eligibility expanded to residents 18 and older in hot spots.

The reported positivity rate is 9.7 per cent and the province completed 33,179 tests in the last day.
Ontario is reporting 3,436 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 33,200 tests completed. Locally, there are 985 new cases in Toronto, 714 in Peel, 351 in York Region, 271 in Durham and 194 in Hamilton.

There are 1,925 people in hospital with COVID-19 across the province, however there are hospitals that don’t report numbers over the weekend.
There are 889 people in ICU with 611 of them on ventilators.
There were 53,880 vaccine doses given out on Sunday, according to the province. There are 375,905 people who have received both doses.
Another 3,623 cases have been marked as resolved.
