Ontario reports 256 COVID-19 cases, two deaths as over 246K vaccine doses administered
Ontario reported 256 cases of COVID-19 and two deaths on Friday as the province set yet another daily vaccination record.
The reported positivity rate is 1.3 per cent, with the province completing 26,561 tests in the last day.
Ontario is reporting 256 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 26,600 tests completed. Locally, there are 39 new cases in the Region of Waterloo, 38 in Peel Region, 36 in Toronto, 18 in Grey Bruce and 17 in Hamilton.

There were 246,393 vaccine doses administered on Thursday and over 218,000 of them were second doses. There are 3.7 million people in the province have received both required vaccine doses.
Ontario has administered 13.5 million vaccine doses to date.
There are 275 people in hospital with COVID-19 across the province. There are 284 patients in ICU with COVID-related illness with 202 of them on ventilators.
The death toll is now 9,101 people.
Another 293 cases have been marked as resolved.
