Ontario reports 1,890 new COVID-19 cases, 28 deaths

Ontario is reporting 1,890 new cases of COVID-19 and 28 deaths, with the number of resolved cases outpacing new ones.
The province added 1,924 cases to its resolved tally.
Ontario is reporting 1,890 cases of #COVID19 and over 48,500 tests completed. Locally, there are 517 new cases in Toronto, 471 in Peel and 187 in York Region. There are 1,924 more resolved cases.

Numbers reported Wednesday come as the province completed 48,546 tests.
The province is reporting a total of 3,836 COVID-19 deaths, with nearly two-thirds of those in residents of long-term care.
There are 811 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 across Ontario. 221 of them are in intensive care with 129 of those on ventilators.
It also reported 207 new COVID-19 cases related to schools.
