Ontario reports 119 new COVID-19 cases, 3 more deaths

Ontario is reporting 119 new COVID-19 cases Monday and three more residents have died from the virus.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 22 new cases in Toronto, 14 in the Region of Waterloo, and 13 in Peel Region.
The data is based on 11,900 completed tests.
There are currently 131 patients in intensive care with COVID-related critical illness and 79 on ventilators.
The province says 65,920 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered Sunday for a total of more than 19 million.
Of the province’s 626 long-term care homes, at least five are in an outbreak including Arbour Creek Long-Term Care Centre in Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas, Fox Ridge Care Community in Brantford, and The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington.
An active COVID-19 outbreak indicates that the home has at least one lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 (in resident or staff) and the local public health unit or the home has declared an outbreak.
