Ontario is reporting 103 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday and no new deaths.

Here is how the numbers break down in our region.

Brant County: 0 new cases

Haldimand-Norfolk: 0 new cases

Halton: 0 new cases

Niagara: 10 new cases

Hamilton: 3 fewer cases

Hamilton’s Public Health Services provided an update on the decline in number of cases in the city on Wednesday.

Health officials say this is being attributed to positive cases not living in Hamilton, being counted multiple times because of re-testing and some false positives.

Toronto, Windsor-Essex, Peel and Ottawa continue to make up the majority of new cases.

The total number of cases now stands at 38,210, which includes 2,755 deaths and 33,963 resolved cases.

The report says there are 154 people are in hospital because of the virus, including 35 people in intensive care and 21 on ventilators.

The province says it was able to complete more than 26,000 tests the previous day.
