Starting today as of midnight, the Ontario government has lifted capacity limits in a majority of settings where proof of vaccination is required.
These settings include bars, restaurants, gyms and indoor sports facilities, bingo halls, casinos and other gaming establishments. Limits will also be lifted in certain outdoor settings.
The government said it will also allow other settings to lift capacity limits and physical distancing requirements if they choose to require proof of vaccination.

The province said locations where a funeral, wedding or religious service, rite or ceremony takes place may also implement proof of vaccination requirements for services, rites, or ceremonies at the location.
Proof of vaccination will not apply to settings where people receive medical care, food from grocery stores and medical supplies.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford said the province plans to lift all COVID-19 restrictions by the end of March 2022.
