Ontario Energy Minister resigns
Energy Minister Chris Bentley has announced he is resigning, effective February 14th.
He released a statement on You Tube Friday. The London West MPP had said last October that he wouldn’t seek re-election. He’s been under fire over two cancelled gas plants in Oakville and Mississauga that cost taxpayers over $200 million. However, he says the scandal was not behind his decision. Bentley has been an MPP for nine years.
