One year since Elliot Lake

This Sunday marks one year since the Elliot Lake mall collapse that devastated the northern Ontario community.
Residents say it’s taking a long time for people to get over what happened last June 23rd when part of the roof-top parking deck caved in killing two women and injuring others. Since then, more than 60 witnesses have testified at an inquiry that’s expected to cost more than $15-million. Before it issues its report early next year. On Sunday, residents will hold a memorial to mark the anniversary of the collapse.
