A crash in downtown St. Catharines Friday night involving a Vespa-style motor scooter and a bus killed one person.

CHCH News learned from a freelancer that the crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. in the area of King and Carlisle streets.

Niagara police confirmed the crash was fatal, but did not provide details of the crash or the people involved.
