Hamilton police say there is no threat to public safety after a stabbing last night in the area of Barton Street East and Barnesdale Avenue North.
On Feb. 21, shortly after 1:20 a.m., officers say they responded to the stabbing shortly after it happened. Police say the victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a suspect was quickly arrested near the location.
Detectives say this was a targeted incident.
