One man in hospital following targeted shooting in Oakville

Halton police are investigating an early morning shooting in Oakville that left one man in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On March 29 at approximately 5:30 a.m., officers were called to the area of Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line for reports of a shooting.

Investigators believe the shooting was targeted. One man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are seeking witnesses who may have observed the shooting.

Anyone with dashcam footage recorded between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. in the following locations is asked to contact police:

  • Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line, Oakville
  • Lakeshore Road between Fourth Line and Southdown Road, Mississauga
  • Ford Drive from Lakeshore Road to the QEW
  • Winston Churchill Boulevard from Lakeshore Road to the QEW

Officers say there is no suspect or vehicle description available.
