One dead following crash on Highway 403 in Brant County

Brant County OPP say one person was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Highway 403.

The crash happened Wednesday afternoon in the eastbound lanes of Highway 403, east of Muir Line in Brant County. Police say a passenger vehicle hit the back of a commercial vehicle.

51-year-old Jasron R. Cook of Norfolk County was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lanes were closed for around five hours and reopened Wednesday night.

Police continue to investigate.
