One arrest, one still sought

Hamilton police have arrested a 33 year old man after a woman was attacked earlier this month.

Police say the 24 year old woman was invited to a home on Holton Avenue south, and beaten with a metal pole.

She escaped several hours later.

Michael White of Hamilton was arrested around 4 o’clock Tuesday morning after he was spotted in a taxi in the area of King Street west and Caroline.

He was wanted for aggravated assault, forcible confinement and uttering death threats.

He’s expected to appear at a bail hearing sometime Tuesday.

23 year old Kayla Harrison of Hamilton is still wanted for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and breach of probation.
