Officer charged in G20 summit investigation testifies

A veteran Toronto police officer denied that he lost control during a long and stressful day at the G20 summit back in June of 2010.

Constable Glenn Weddell was charged with assault after 32 year old Dorian Barton suffered a broken shoulder when police cleared an intersection near Queen’s Park.

Scot Urquhart was in the courtroom Tuesday afternoon as Waddell took the stand to deny the charges and he joins us now with some of the testimony.
