Off-duty Niagara police officer arrested for alleged road rage incident in St. Catharines

An off-duty Niagara Regional Police officer was charged following an alleged road rage incident in St. Catharines.

On July 21, police responded to a suspected road rage incident in which a man exited his vehicle and struck and struck the window of another vehicle, causing damage.

No physical injuries were sustained as a result.

Niagara police identified the suspect involved in the incident as an off-duty officer from their service and requested the assistance of Halton police to conduct the investigation.

On Aug. 17, investigators with Halton police arrested and charged 56-year-old Nathan Parker of St. Catharines with mischief under $5,000 and assault.

Parker is scheduled to appear in the St. Catharines Courthouse on Oct. 25.
