Oakville is supposed to feel something like minus-15 on Wednesday, but many will ignore the temperature for the annual courage polar bear dip.

Hundred’s of participants will take the plunge into the frigid waters of Lake Ontario at Coronation Park.

It attracts “dippers” of all ages. This year they range from the age of four all the way to 76.

The 29th annual courage polar bear dip will raise money for World Vision.

Just a note, Hamilton’s polar dip is not going ahead this year. Organizers cite the “dangerous ice conditions.”
