Ontario residents have the opportunity to pay their respects today for soldiers who fought and died for Canada as numerous Remembrance Day ceremonies take place across the province.

Premier Doug Ford will lead the main provincial tribute at Queen’s Park starting at 10:45 a.m.

The Canadian Armed Forces say a 21-gun salute and a fly-past are also planned at the provincial legislature, with the salute occurring on the north side at 11 a.m.

The fly-past is dependent on weather and operational considerations but is intended to travel as far east as Whitby.

In Hamilton, the ceremony will take place at the Gore Park Cenotaph, beginning at 10:30 a.m., and be live-streamed on Cable14 and the City of Hamilton’s YouTube Channel.
