NSC President arrested on fraud charges

The President of National Steel Car in Hamilton has been arrested in the U.S. on allegations of securities fraud.

Gregory Aziz was arrested Tuesday at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. He now faces ten counts of securities fraud for allegedly scheming to defraud the retirement systems of Alabama. Officials believe Aziz supplied fraudulent financial information and made false statements in connection with a loan from the RSA. If convicted, he would face 10 years in prison.
