Norfolk County OPP say eight people who were part of a gathering in Simcoe over the weekend have been charged.

Police say they were called to an address on Queensway East on Saturday. They say a large gathering was being held at the address.

Eight people have been charged under the Reopening Ontario Act.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be laid.
