No GO Train service between Oakville and Exhibition stops this weekend

Starting on Saturday until end of service on Sunday, GO Train Lakeshore West Line rail service will be temporarily modified to accommodate critical track work.

During this time, there will be no GO Train service between Oakville and Exhibition GO.

GO Train service will continue to run between Niagara Falls and Oakville GO stations, as well as between Exhibition GO and Union Station, but replacement buses will serve Oakville and Clarkson GO and then run direct between Clarkson GO and Union Station.

There will be no GO Transit services at Port Credit, Long Branch or Mimico GO.

Night-service adjustments

On Friday evening there will also be some service adjustments. Metrolinx has therefore arranged two extra westbound trains to help get customers home from events near Exhibition GO.

Metrolinx advisers customers to check schedules before travelling as trip times could depart earlier or later than usual. GO bus connection times may be adjusted, and customers should expect longer than usual wait times.

Customers are encouraged to sign up for On the GO Alerts to receive real time updates about trip schedules, delays or disruptions.

Regular service will resume on Sept. 15.
