No charges laid after Hamilton girl struck by vehicle last fall

Hamilton police say they are not laying charges after an 11-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle last fall, leaving her with life-altering injuries.
It happened around 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 10 — the first day of school — when the young girl was walking on the sidewalk in the area of Emerald and Keith streets.
Investigators say a man in his 60s experienced a medical episode when his blue Ford Mustang struck the girl, pinning her against a building.
Paramedics brought the man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
