Niagara Regional Police investigate fatal crash in West Lincoln

Niagara regional police are investigating a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon that left one man dead.

Police say a 24-year-old man was driving an Audi A4 westbound in the area of Regional Road 20 and Regional Road 27 in the Town of West Lincoln around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers say the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before hitting a pole.

First responders say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are working with the collision reconstruction unit as the investigation remains ongoing.
