Niagara police seize weapons, drugs following crash on QEW

Ontario Provincial Police say a driver is facing charges after a number of weapons were seized from a vehicle that was involved in a crash on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
Emergency crews were called to the QEW at Sodom Rd. Tuesday morning for a single-vehicle rollover collision.
Officers discovered several weapons and cannabis inside the vehicle. Police say the vehicle was also taken “without consent.”
The driver was arrested and faces several weapons-related charges as well breach and liquor violations. They also face three charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
