Niagara police searching for 64-year-old man

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help locating a 64-year-old man last seen in Stevensville.

Officers say Gary Meissner was last seen Sept. 24 at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the area of Ott and Church roads when he went for a walk in a wooded area.

Authorities describe Meissner as a six-foot-tall white man with a slender build and grey hair. They add that he was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Investigators say the search in the wooded area is ongoing. At this time it is unknown whether Meissner exited the woods from a different location or if he is lost in the wooded area.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Meissner is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111.
