Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman they believe stole a television from a St. Catharines store.
Police say a woman entered a store on Jan. 11 and went straight to the electronics department.
It’s alleged the woman placed a 43-inch RCA 4K television, valued at $382, inside a shopping cart. She then walked by the checkouts and left the store without paying for the item.
Police believe she got into an awaiting vehicle outside.
The woman is described as being between 25 and 35 years of age, with long black hair. She was wearing a long black winter coat, black pants, and a black and white t-shirt.
Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact Niagara police.
