Niagara police search for rightful owners of stolen property

Police are hoping to reunite several pieces of stolen jewellery with its rightful owners after it was discovered during an investigation at a Niagara Falls hotel.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the Ramada Inn on River Road on Sunday.

Officers seized illicit narcotics, airsoft rifles and pistols, which police say had a “strong resemblance to real firearms.”

Thirty-six-year-old Shaun Christie, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and faces a slew of drug-related charges.

Detectives also located more than a dozen pieces of jewellery that are believed to have been stolen.

Police are hoping to find the owners of the following items:

  • Golden Pendant – engraved with Hail Mary prayer
  • Silver Rose Pin
  • Gold / Silver XOXO watch Gold / Silver Aviator Watch with black face
  • Gold Timex Watch
  • Black Fossil Watch
  • Silver Roots Watch
  • Gold / Silver Rubina Time Watch
  • Pink Roots Watch
  • Silver Charm Bracelet – with the engravings “Amanda”
    • Scorpio charm
    • Baseball charm
    • Volleyball charm
