Niagara police looking for three suspects allegedly involved with stabbing in Welland

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who was allegedly involved with a July 13 stabbing in Welland.
Officers say 18-year-old Ava Gallagher from Welland is wanted for aggravated assault and theft under $5,000.
Two additional suspects are allegedly involved with the stabbing but cannot be identified as they are under 18-years-old.
Police say the stabbing happened around 9 p.m. on Sunday in Bemus Park in the Coventry Road and Dieppe Street area.
Four people, who police say are known to each other, were identified in the park after an altercation led to a man being stabbed multiple times and fleeing to a nearby home.
Detectives with the Niagara police Domestic Violence Unit continue to investigate this case.
