Niagara police investigating after charred vehicle found in Fort Erie

Niagara police are investigating after finding a stolen vehicle in Fort Erie that appears to have been intentionally set on fire.

Police say they were dispatched to the area of Gilmore and Ridgemont Roads around 5 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a fire.

When officers arrived, they discovered the charred vehicle and determined it had been reported stolen.

Detectives say the car is believed to be a 2013 orange Hyundai Veloster with front end damage.
