Niagara police holding open houses to discuss body-worn camera use

Niagara police are holding a series of open houses to discuss the use of body-worn cameras.

Officers say they want to know how the community feels about the technology.

Anyone interested in joining the conversation can attend the following events:

  • St Catharines: March 18 at the Pen Centre from 12 – 3 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m.
  • Niagara Falls: March 28 at Gale Centre Arena from 9 – 11 a.m. and 4 – 6 p.m.
  • Welland: March 21 at Seaway Mall from 9-11 a.m. and 4 – 6 p.m.
  • Port Colborne: March 31 at Vale Health and Wellness Centre from 9 – 11 a.m. and 4 – 6 p.m.
  • West Lincoln: April 1 at Fleming Centre from 9 – 11 a.m. and 4 – 6 p.m.
  • Fort Erie: April 2 at Fort Erie Leisureplex from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
