Niagara police have located and charged a 36-year-old man with multiple human trafficking offences.
In April, officers launched the investigation and began their search for Na’el Al Mahshi of Niagara Falls.
In a previous media release, Niagara police said Al Mahshi is wanted for seven different charges, including trafficking in persons by recruiting and forcible confinement.
Police found and arrested Al Mahshi on Tuesday. He was held in custody and will attend a video bail hearing at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on Wednesday.
Detectives believe there may be more victims.
