Niagara police are looking for witnesses after stabbing in Welland

Niagara Regional Police Service Domestic Violence Unit is investigating a stabbing that happened Sunday night in Welland.
Several Niagara Regional Police officers were called to a home on McArthur Avenue, near Dieppe Street, around 9 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
Four people were identified in Bemus Park in the area of Coventry Road and Dieppe Street. Police say the people were known to each other.
After an altercation, officers say one man was stabbed multiple times before fleeing to a nearby home. The man sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are seeking witnesses and any surveillance video at the time of the incident and are appealing to the public for anyone who may have captured footage on their residential or dashcam surveillance systems for the period between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the area of Bemus Park.
