Niagara Parks kicks off tourist season

There are many things to do in Niagara Falls this Easter long weekend. A couple of attractions opened for the season and they get you up close to the whirlpool rapids including the newly refurbished cable cars.

The White Water Walk attraction along with the Whirlpool Aero Car are both open for the season with Niagara Parks. The White Water Walk is a self-guided tour along the Niagara Gorge on a boardwalk overlooking the powerful rapids.
The Whirlpool Aero Car is also back in action. The Aero Car was built in 1915 and this winter it was removed from its tracks and sent to Quebec for a facelift. Niagara Parks COO Marcello Gruosso says the look of the car was replaced to look exactly like the original, “That was very important to us, to preserve it and keep the original design.”

There are day passes available for all the activities within Niagara Parks, or you can get an annual pass and come back as many times are you want.
