Ribfest is returning to Niagara Falls after two years of drive-thru Ribs to Go events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It will return to its traditional format June 17, 18 and 19 at Rapidsview Park.

Organizers says they are still looking for some Ribbers and other vendors to come to the event. Currently, Bone Daddy, Hogfather, Billy Bones and Silver Bullet have all been finalized.

Along with ribs, the event will also feature live entertainment, as well as other crafters, vendors and food trucks.

In 2021, the Rotary Club hosted two Ribs to Go events in a drive-thru format as a result of the pandemic. In 2020, it hosted two drive-thru events as well.

The money raised during the event goes back into the community, the Rotary House, Pathstone Mental Health, Niagara Nutrition Partners, GNGH Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Niagara, Habitat for Humanity, Project Share and Literacy Niagara and more.
