Niagara Falls police close roads after pedestrian struck by vehicle

Montrose Road and Greendale Street were closed for a police investigation Monday morning after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle late Sunday night.

Officers did not disclose the extent of the person’s injuries, but a bystander said the person was transported to hospital by emergency responders.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes as investigators continue to attend the scene.
