Niagara Falls mayor urges free drinks at casinos

The mayor of Niagara Falls wants to revitalize Ontario’s casinos by offering free drinks.

Jim Diodati says it would be a small consolation for people who aren’t successful while gambling. Gaming revenue in Ontario has dropped more than $100 million in the last four years, while the number of customers has dropped nearly 3 million.

Free drinks would require approval by the province.
