Niagara Falls man faces weapons charges after threatening other man: police

A Niagara Falls man has been arrested and charged with several weapons offences.

Officers were called to the area of Victoria Ave. and Crawford Pl. around 6 p.m. on Saturday.

They say two men, a 42-year-old and 24-year-old, got into an argument outside a multi-unit residence. The older man pulled out a black pellet handgun and threatened to shoot the other before running away.

Officers found him in the area of Buckley Ave. and Simcoe St.

Justin Ambursley, 42, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with:

• Carry Concealed Weapon
• Pointing a Firearm
• Assault with a Weapon
• Possession of a Weapon For a Dangerous Purpose
• Uttering Threats (Death)
• Possession of a Firearm contrary to prohibition order
