Niagara police say a 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with a child luring investigation.

Officers opened the investigation at the beginning of November.

On Nov. 17, police arrested and charged Michael Joseph Brandauer of Niagara Falls with luring a child via telecommunication and possession of child pornography.

Brandauer is scheduled to appear in a St. Catharines court Friday.
