Niagara Falls fireworks cancelled Friday due to wildfire smoke

Anyone who was hoping to see fireworks over Niagara Falls will have to make other plans.
The firework show that was scheduled for 10 p.m. has been cancelled since Thursday due to poor air quality as smoke from forest fires over northeastern Ontario and Quebec drifts into the region.
The shows have been set for every night between May 19 and Oct. 9, 2023.
