Niagara-bound lanes of QEW in Grimsby reopen after serious crash

One person is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a transport truck on the QEW in Grimsby on Thursday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police say the accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. in the Niagara-bound lanes of the highway between Casablanca Blvd. and Christie St.

Officers say a female driving an SUV crashed into the transport truck before rolling into a ditch.
First responders closed all Niagara-bound lanes of the QEW to investigate, but they have since reopened.
OPP are working to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the collision.
