A 20 year old woman from Newmarket was seriously injured when she was hit by a car at the intersection of Main Street West and Westbourne Road in Hamilton Tuesday night.

The driver of the car continued heading west on Main Street, but later returned to the scene and was arrested. 30 year old Amanda Grier from Toronto is being held for bail.
