Nestlé has recalled two flavours of Gerber baby teething sticks in Canada due to a possible chocking hazard.

The recalled product is the ‘Gerber Soothe N Chew Teething Sticks’ in both banana and strawberry apple.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has been informed of the recall.

Consumers are asked to throw away the teething sticks in those flavours and to contact Nestlé for a refund.

Vendors have been advised not to sell, serve or distribute the products. The teething sticks were also recalled and have been discontinued in the United States.

No serious injuries have been reported.
