National Canadian Film Day is happening TODAY, April 29, which means you can get out and see some of the awesome films this country has created, either online, on TV, or at one of the many free screenings taking place across Canada. Hamiltonians can get out to see Cast No Shadow at the Jackson Square cinema, Film.ca Cinemas in Oakville are showing The Grand Seduction, and students at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in St. Catharines watched The Rocket this afternoon.
