Mulcair to run for NDP leadership

Montreal MP Thomas Mulcair has officially joined the NDP leadership race.

Mulcair already has his campaign website up and running.

The website states that he’s the best person to take on Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

It goes on to talk about how closely he worked with Jack Layton to build the party in Quebec.

Mulcair becomes the sixth candidate to enter the race.

He may be among the only ones who actually pose a threat to perceived front-runner Brian Topp.
