Mr. Peabody and Sherman

Mr. Peabody and Sherman is the newest from Dreamworks Studios and revamps the classic characters originally featured in the cartoon Rocky and Bullwinkle. The story follows Mr. Peabody and his adopted son Sherman. After Sherman uses Peabody’s time machine to impress a girl at school, the family travels back in time to undo the trouble the kids caused. Ty Burrell voices Peabody and is joined by Max Charles, Leslie Mann, Allison Janney and Stephen Colbert.

Rob Minkoff, the director probably best known for Disney’s The Lion King, is at the helm for this one. Fans of the Mr. Peabody and Sherman featured in Rocky and Bullwinkle will notice that the characters have been updated somewhat. Instead of treating Sherman as a pet and underling as he did in the original, Mr. Peabody is more of a concerned parent.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman is rated G.
