MPPs honour Ornge crash victims

(Video updated) Politicians at Queen’s Park honoured victims of last week’s Ornge air crash with a moment of silence this morning.

Health minister Deb Matthews led the tribute. “We will be recognizing captain Don Filiter, first officer Jacques Dupuis, paramedic Dustin Dagenais and paramedic Chris Snowball.”

MPPs voted unanimously to stand and pay their respects to the victims. The four men died when an Ornge air helicopter crashed on its way to Attawapiskat to pick up a patient. Paramedic Chris Snowball was from Burlington.
