Motorcyclist suffers non-life threatening injuries in Welland crash

Niagara police say a motorcycle rider suffered non-life threatening injuries following a crash into a parked car in Welland Thursday night.

Officers received a call around 10:20 p.m. and arrived at the scene of King Street near Fifth Street, just east of the Welland River.

The motorcyclist, a 48-year-old man, was taken to an out-of-region hospital for treatment of injuries which were later determined to be non-life threatening.

Police say the circumstances surrounding this collision remain under investigation.
