Motorcycle crash kills rider

A 44 year-old Hamilton man is dead following a crash on Hamilton Mountain.

His motorcycle and a car collided at Upper Wellington and Hester Street just before 7 Wednesday night.

The 33 year-old woman driving the car wasn’t hurt.

Upper Wellington was closed between Mohawk and Limeridge roads until early Thursday morning while the Hamilton police reconstruction unit investigated.

The man’s family have been contacted.
