Several school boards across the Greater Hamilton area are open Wednesday, as freezing rain and snow causes slippery roads, delaying bus routes.
The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board says all learning and workspaces will open.
All Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District schools, adult education centres, and school-based childcare centres are open, but expect some delays in student transportation.
All Halton District and Halton Catholic District Schools are open, but transportation in zones 2 (Milton) and 3 (Halton Hills including Georgetown and Acton) are cancelled.
The District School Board of Niagara and the District Catholic School Board of Niagara have not reported closing any schools, but many bus routes throughout the Niagara region are seeing delays of around 10 minutes.
Providence Christian School in Dundas is closed.
Trinity Christian School in Burlington is closed.
The Calvin Christian elementary school in Hamilton is closed.
